I have one Maybank MasterCard Credit Card and one Maybank Visa Credit Card. I seldom use these two cards. I decided to cancel it. I made a phone call to Maybank Customer Service. They advised me to redeem all my reward points before canceling the credit cards. They were helpful. I redeemed all my reward points for a Logitech Cordless Mouse, a Sony Radio Clock and a Petronas RM 50 voucher since last two week. I canceled these two cards this week.

Deluge is a BitTorrent client for Linux. I stumbled upon in a forum posting about this Deluge BitTorrent client that can avoid your ISP’s throttling your BitTorrent download and upload speed. I have been facing throttled BitTorrent traffic by my ISP for a long time and its frustrating…
I fired up my VMware Server and power up the Ubuntu 7.04 (Feisty Fawn) Desktop Edition as my guest OS. I downloaded a latest version of Deluge 0.5.4 for Ubuntu 7.04 (Feisty Fawn) and I followed the installation instruction of Deluge (i386) from Ubuntu Guide. After the successful installation, just fire up the Deluge and begin my download…I am getting a good download speed of 98.9kB/s and that was awesome!!!

Are you facing difficulty on a network where your BitTorrent download and upload speed is being throttled or your BitTorrent simply doesn’t work at all. My ISP has started to throttle the BitTorrent download speed few monts ago. Previously, I can get 100kB/s download speed. But, now I can only get 12kB/s download speed (the best maximum speed). Damn…its frustrating. No worries…there are lot of other technology that we can use it as a workaround. I had stumbled upon a personal blog of Michael Whalen showing how we can tunnel BitTorrent thru SSH. I have been using his solution to download all Linux ISOs happily.
You must have the following requirements: -
Let’s start. First, fire up your PuTTY. Enter your remote SSH server hostname or IP address in the “Host Name” field. Enter your preferred session name in the “Saved Sessions” field.
Next, go to Connection > SSH > Tunnels, and write your preferred port number in the “Source port” field (I am using 8888) and select the “Dynamic” radio button. Then, click the “Add” button.
Next, go back to Sessions, click the “Save” button to save your new session. Double click on your saved session name to make a connection to your remote SSH server.
Second, fire up your µTorrent. Click on the “Preferences” button. Go to Connection. In the “Proxy Server”, select “Sock4″ as the proxy server type, enter “localhost” in the proxy field and enter “8888″ in the port field. Next, select the “Use proxy server for peer-to-peer connections” checkbox.
Next, go to BitTorrent, in the “Protocol Encryption”, select the “Forced” in the outgoing field and select “Allow incoming legacy connections” checkbox. Then, click on the “OK” button to save the preferences.
Finally, you can start your BitTorrent download…without being throttled!!!

My wife was admitted to the QHC medical center. It was her birthday. The doctor advised her to stay a night in the medical center since her delivery date is due on 31 July 2007. My wife want our baby girl to be delivered on 30 July 2007. But her cervix it’s considered “unripe” or not yet ready for labor. She thought of inducing labor but the doctor advised not to because it will end up with ceaseran. To avoid the risk of prolonging the pregnancy, the doctor advise us on inducing labor to be performed on 31 July 2007. We accepted the inducing labor.

The inducing start at 8am. My wife’s contraction start at 11am. She took a first painkiller injection. Her cervix dilated to 2cm. She took a second painkiller injection. Her cervix dilated to 5cm at 2pm. She took a third painkiller injection. Her cervix dilated to 8cm at 5pm. She can’t stand with the pain anymore. She asked the mid-wife when can she delivered loudly. The mid-wife quickly informed the doctor. The doctor arrived at 5:30pm to begin the labor. My wife started to labor. The doctor decided to use a vacuum to help her on the labor.
At 6pm, my daughter was born. Her weight is 3.3kg.
