Google Chrome web browser is my second choice of web browser after Mozilla Firefox. As the latest stable beta version of Google Chrome 2.0.172.37 is released on July 16, 2009 which fixed some minor bugs and several security issues, I need to upgrade my Google Chrome to avoid any usability, stability and security issue occured. My best practise of upgrading is to download the 9.4MB Google Chrome 2.0.172.37 offline installer. With the offline installer, it enables me to install as many systems as I want anytime anywhere without any hassle and save a lot of time too.
However, I am sure some of you have the question on how can we download the next release of the Google Chrome. It is easy. Whenever there is a new release to 2.0 beta version or 3.0 development version. Just replace the last two major and minor version number into the download link highlighted below: -
http://dl.google.com/chrome/install/172.37/chrome_installer.exe
Easy right. This also works for the 3.0 development version and you can download the 10.5MB Google Chrome 3.0.195.1 offline installer.
