After Shiretoko, Firefox 3.5 and here comes Namoroka. The Firefox 3.6 developed under the project name “Namoroka” will be based on Gecko 1.9.2 introduces several new features as below: -

* Users can now change their browser’s appearance with a single click, with built in support for Personas.
* Firefox 3.6 will alert users about out of date plugins to keep them safe.
* Open, native video can now be displayed full screen, and supports poster frames.
* Support for the WOFF font format.
* Improved JavaScript performance, overall browser responsiveness and startup time.
* Support for new CSS, DOM and HTML5 web technologies.

As of today, Mozilla Firefox 3.5 version codename ‘Shiretoko‘ is made available to your language in over 70 languages. All this languages made to you by the contributions from Mozilla community members around the world. This version was renamed to 3.5 prior to the originally 3.1 version to reflect a greater scope of changes than what had originally been planned.

From Mozilla Firefox 3.5 release notes, the new Mozilla Firefox 3.5 is based on the Gecko 1.9.1 rendering platform, which has been under development for the past year. Firefox 3.5 offers many changes over the previous version, supporting new web technologies, improving performance and ease of use. Some of the notable features are: -

Mozilla Firefox 3.5 Will Be Born Tomorrow

The long awaited release of the Mozilla Firefox 3.5 web browser will be solved tomorrow since 3.0 was released about a year ago. Mozilla has confirmed that Firefox 3.5 will be released on June 30, 2009. The new version sports a faster Javascript rendering and a private browsing mode which allows you to surf anonymously without saving your personal data.

Nevertheless, it also supports multimedia playback in a browser without any plugins installed, offline data access and enhanced web graphics.
