Measure Your Internet Broadband Speed Using SpeedTest

Since last month, my Internet Service Provider (ISP) speed is really slow to international website especially to US either download or upload access. Before calling to my ISP to complain about the situation, I used Speedtest.net the global broadband speed test analysis tool that allows me to test my Internet connection speed. This service is provided by Ookla for free to everyone who would like to perform their Internet connection speed test. This service is available from locations around the world.

My advise is choose the server closer to your location and start your Internet speed test. The Internet speed test will first test the ping latency. Once the ping latency is done, the download speed test will be started and follow by upload speed test. A final summary report will be displayed once all this test is done. Well, test your Internet broadband speed today to see your results.

Hmmm… I wanna ask you hor… How come you don’t update your little princess photos anymore? Did you set up a new website for this? I miss seeing her beautiful smile.

Li Lian, I am in the midst of planning something for her photos…

Dieta, sorry to hear that. I am getting 0.88Mbps download and 0.33Mbps upload. I satisfied for what I paid for 1Mbps download and 384kbps upload.

Speedtest is the most popular website I think. Just recently found another simple site which has on online test too:

    http://testinternetspeed.org/

Both gave similar results for my internet connection.

In the UK I would suggest using http://www.mybroadbandspeed.co.uk/ from Plus Net. Excellent speed tester and reporting.
