Surprising me, a new 8.9-inch netbook Dell Vostro A90 now available in Dell.com website. The first look at it, I find it basically look same as Dell Inspiron Mini 9. Further comparing the technical specifications between them, they have similar technical specifications. Dell Vostro A90 offers Intel Atom Processor N270 (1.6GHz/533Mhz FSB/512K cache), memory up to 1GB DDR2 Single Channel 533MHz, 8.9 inch Wide Screen WSVGA (1024 x 600 screen resolution) with TrueLife, harddisk up to 16GB Solid State Drive, integrated Intel 945GSE graphics card, integrated 10/100Mbps network interface card, wireless 802.11b/g mini card, integrated Bluetooth, integrated 0.3M Pixel Webcam, 3 x USB 2.0 compliant 4-pin ports, 15-pin VGA video connector, 3-in-1 media memory card reader SD/SDIO/MMC and 4 cell battery. Also, you can choose to have Windows XP Home Edition or Ubuntu Linux 8.04 as your operating system.

    How is the performance of Atom processor? I have not test it before and how much does this A90?

    Still a little low on memory. But it looks nice (just like inspiron 9) and I guess it might be enough for most simple office jobs.

    simon, this Dell Vostro A90 not available in Malaysia yet. Intel Atom should be good for web browsing, word processing and excel spreadsheet.

    Gry dla Dzieci, agree with you. Mobile simple office jobs is the answer to Dell Vostro A90.
