The long-awaited Dell Inspiron Mini 10 by all the people around the world has arrived. Dell added the new Mini 10 to its line of netbooks last Thursday, Feb 20, 2009 along with Mini 9 and Mini 12 in www.dell.com website. The Dell Inspiron Mini 10 utilizes Intel Atom Z520 (1.33GHz/533MHz FSB/512K L2Cache) or Z530 (1.60GHz/533MHz FSB/512K L2Cache) processor and will be shipped with Genuine Windows XP Home Edition SP3. Other features include 1GB 533MHz DDR2 SDRAM, either 120GB or 160GB SATA HDD 2.5 inch 5400RPM, a glossy 10.1 inch LED display (1024×576) WSVGA, a standard 1.3MP webcam, an Intel Integrated Graphics Media Accelerator 500, either a WiFi 802.11g or a/g/n Mini Cards, Bluetooth internal (2.1+EDR) mini-card, an integrated network connector 10/100 LAN (RJ45), 2 USB and 1 Power USB, HDMI connector, 3-in-1 Card Reader (SD/SDHC/MMC/MS) and a 3-cell 24WHr Li-Ion battery.

However, there is no official pricing announced yet but there is a prediction the price will be released on Feb 26, 2009. In addition, I would like to see the availability of the newest addition of Dell Inspiron Mini 10 in Asia Pacific specifically in Malaysia. Other feature add-on customization I would like to have is the SSD hard disk and the 6-cell Li-Ion battery. Indeed, Dell Inspiron Mini 10 has been my target to replace my old Intel Pentium 4 notebook.
