Always Use Google Chrome in Incognito Mode

Are you tired of every time switching to Incognito mode after each time you run Google Chrome web browser. There is a simple solution to this by adding a simple command line switch to the Google Chrome shortcut. I had successfully tried this in version 0.3.154.0, 0.3.154.6 and 0.3.154.9 but can’t get it working in version version 0.2.149.30.

Right click on the Google Chrome shortcut and select Properties. In Google Chrome Properties and select Shortcut menu. In the Target text box, insert “–incognito” with a space at the end as show below: -

Click OK button to apply the setting. Finally, you have enable your Google Chrome to start in Incognito mode. And, don’t forget to download the latest beta release 0.3.154.9 offline installer released on Oct 29, 2008.

simon, this feature is great. no worries to clear the history.

FYI. in WIN XP you might find that you have a problem if you put the -incognito part inside the quotations. Easy fix, put it outside them! :)
