Windows 7 is the Final Name

Windows 7 is the final name confirmed by Microsoft for the next generation operating system. Mike Nash, Corporate Vice President, Windows Product Management confirmed the news in his blog. The decision made is fairly simple. Just to use its codename for the next version of Windows OS. Nevertheless, more about Windows 7 will be revealed in a professional developers conference which starts on the October 27, 2008.

However, I was hoping to hear another cool name after Windows Vista (perhaps Windows Vista is far better than Windows Me) and I still prefer the rock solid Windows XP. Well, I am looking forward to see the official screen shots of Windows 7.

It really fast that Microsoft going to release another OS. I’m currently using Windows Vista and compare to XP i prefer Vista now :) the vista with SP1 seems to be very stable.

Hope the Windows 7 will be more stable and user friendly minus the resources hungry.
