Installing Citrix XenCenter 4.1.0
Jun 15
Citrix XenCenter is a Windows client management console for Citrix XenServer. This post will cover a simple installation guide for Citrix XenCenter 4.1.0 only. The setup file can be download from Citrix XenServer website or you can get it from the Citrix XenServer CD.
Citrix XenCenter must be installed on a Windows XP, 2003 or Vista with .NET framework version and above remote machine. This remote machine must be able to connect to the Citrix XenServer through the network. You cannot install the Citrix XenCenter on the same machine as the Citrix XenServer. Lets get started.
Double click the setup file and it will run. Then, you will see the “Welcome to the XenCenter Setup Wizard” installer window. Click on the Next button to proceed.

Next, you will see the “Selection Installation Folder” installer window. Click Next button to accept the default folder C:\Program Files\Citrix\XenCenter.

Then, you will see the “Confirmation Installation” installer window. Click Next button to proceed with the installation.

Finally, you will see the “Installation Complete” installer window. You have successfully installed Citrix XenCenter.

By default, the Citrix XenCenter shortcut icon is available on the desktop. Double click it to launch the Citrix XenCenter. You will see a splash screen as below.

Lastly, the Citrix XenCenter is launched.

Thank you for reading this and I hope you enjoy it. I will blog about connecting to the Citrix XenServer very soon. Please stay tuned.
