Dell Celebrated 24 Years of Inspiration

I know this is too late. Happy Belated Birthday to Dell. Dell is 24 years old now on 3 May 2008. Dell has provided a list of 24 things you should know about them. Take a look here.
In recent weeks, Dell just launched two new redesigned Vostro laptops for small business ; a 13.3-inch Vostro 1310 and a 15.4-inch Vostro 1510. The redesigned 17-inch Vostro 1710 will be introduced in mid May 2008. You should also pay a visit to Direct2Dell blog to know about Dell products, services and customers.
I was shocked that Cubans are not allow to own a personal computer (PC). In recent weeks, Cuba new President Raul Castro had lifted the ban on PC ownership by the citizen of Cuba. They still can’t have Internet access at home because ban on Internet access at home has not been lifted except for trusted officials and state journalists. Luckily, the Cuba citizen still can have Internet access restricted in certain workplaces, schools and universities. After all, I hope this change is good for Cubans. Hooray!
I am a fan of Slackware. I am very excited to hear the release announcement of Slackware 12.1 on 2 May 2008 by Patrick Volkerding and the Slackware team. Slackware 12.1 has many improvements over the older release of Slackware 12.0 includes supporting of 2.6 kernel.
