Google Has a New Favicon
May 31

Did you notice that Google has a new favicon? Google has replaced the upper-case blue “G” in a blue, green and red borders with a lower-case purple “g” in a white backgrond. The new Google favicon is located here in 16×16 pixels ICON format.
The first time when I saw it, I can’t believe my eyes. I thought something wrong with my browser caching mechanism. But after googling around, I found that it is a real thing that Google has changed their favicon. Some people said that the new favicon looks similar to Ghostscript logo. Personally, I still prefer the old favicon. What do you think?

But my browser still display the capital G favicon. Maybe it uses the favicon from cache.

I don’t quite like it. It has no Google feel to it… look more like a cheap rip off…
What ya think?
