Google Has a New Favicon

Did you notice that Google has a new favicon? Google has replaced the upper-case blue “G” in a blue, green and red borders with a lower-case purple “g” in a white backgrond. The new Google favicon is located here in 16×16 pixels ICON format.

The first time when I saw it, I can’t believe my eyes. I thought something wrong with my browser caching mechanism. But after googling around, I found that it is a real thing that Google has changed their favicon. Some people said that the new favicon looks similar to Ghostscript logo. Personally, I still prefer the old favicon. What do you think?

Talks between EDS and HP

Electronic Data Systems (EDS), the Texas-based information technology outsourcing company and Hewlett-Packard (HP) confirmed they are in advanced discussion about a possible business combination involving the two companies but both gave no details. The Wall Street Journal reported HP is willing to pay $12 billion to $13 billion for this acquisition. This would be HP’s biggest since its $19 billion acquisition of Compaq in year 2002.

With this HP acquisition, do you think it help will EDS? Perhaps, let’s just watch for this acquisition to announce to deal.

Advertlets Database Connection Lost

Not again… Advertlets website is down due to database connection lost between their database server and web server. Referring to the screen shot above, looks like their database server is having an public IP address of 202.46.116.101 and why in the world they put it on public IP address. Strange huh…

No news update from Advertlets Blogspot. I guess Josh and the team is busying troubleshooting it or busying preparing emails to reply. Hmm…I can’t check my daily earnings and statistics now. Luckily the ads is still working.

My baby girl is 9 months 1 week 1 day old
