I have heard so many stories on babysitter or nanny abusing the baby or child they are taking care of. This sound scary isn’t it. I have a daughter and she is 8 months, 3 weeks and 2 days old. She is being taking care by mother. I can say that I am very lucky to have my mother taking care of her. With my mother taking care of my daughter, I have a piece of mind and less worry on my daughter situations.

In Malaysia, babysitting is most commonly performed by retired working mothers or housewife to earn extra money for the family. It is quite profitable in Malaysia but the rates may vary according to locations. Babysitter or nanny is often being employed when both parents are working. Normally, your child will be take care by the babysitter or nanny in their own home. So to speak, the babysitter or nanny may caring more than a child at a time and you will be worrying on your child safety or lack of caring.

So, what would be your consideration when you are looking for a babysitter or nanny? Do you want them to be in your home or their home? Of course, we want them to be in our home. But, the rates paid will be higher than because we buy all their time to babysit our child. It’s very hard to hire a babysitter or nanny to work in your home but I have a friend and he is lucky enough to hire a babysitter or nanny to take care his kids in their home.

With the technology now, he has taken a further consideration of installing several nanny cameras to watch the babysitter or nanny to make sure she did not abuse his kids and treating his kids right. The intension of having a nanny camera is to watch her how she is taking care of his kids when he is not around and nothing voyeuristic desire here. Whether she is hot or she was a hag, he will watch and analyze the recorded video and if he found her abusing his kids or she is not doing the right thing to his child, he will save the portion of the recorded video for evidence purpose. Apparently, he already notified her about the installation of the nanny camera and she has no complaint on the nanny camera because she did inform him earlier that she has no bad record on babysitting. She expressed herself that she will feel being monitored if she is not being informed about the nanny camera without her knowledge.

From my point of view, a nanny camera will be completely wrong or abusive if the person uses it for sexual gratification pleasure, especially from a secret vantage point.
