WordPress 2.3.3 is released on 5 February 2008. This is an urgent security release that fixes a bug found in the XML-RPC implementation. This release also fixes a few minor bugs. You can only download the fixed version of xmlrpc.php and replace it with your existing xmlrpc.php file just to fix this security issue.
I had my blog upgraded to version 2.3.3 today without any hick ups. Download and upgrade your blog now to avoid being exploited.
