mrbeen, you can refer to the manual here –> http://www.prolink2u.com/downloads/pdf/manuals/manual_H6300G.v1.0.pdf Go to page 43 of the manual and you can read all on how to setup the wireless connection with authentication.

Regarding the speed, I did perform download from rapidshare.com and the speed is ok for me as well as transferring files.
