Regarding the speed, I did perform download from rapidshare.com and the speed is ok for me as well as transferring files.

Hi there wing soon. Currently i’m using 6300g at my home. Yes , the coverage is very good as i’m living in double storey terrace , connected to the internet by using notebook at the 1st floor and the wireless router is at the 2nd floor.

But , i experienced that download rate by using wireless more slower compared to download rate by using RJ45 cable (connected to my pc). For example , i downloading a 100mb+ file from rapidshare only got about 60kbps download rate. If i try to download the same file by using wired , i can get almot 170kbps, sometimes it can reach 190kbps.

So , do you have any tips that you can share with me. And one more thing is , i can’t located any firmware for 6300g at prolink websites.

i’m using the Zyxel P334-wt that come with the bandwidth management, some sort like QoS. Not bad does not affect much on my browsing when downloading P2P

dicky, reducing the “Global max connections” might help you. I set mine to 100. Limit the download and upload speed too.

Bro, does this unit comes with QoS. If yes try to use the QoS so your internet access and the torrent download not much affected.

Hi, i am also using Linksys WRT54G, but when i on my torent using Xunlei, my others computer can’t access internet. I think this is not due to the a network or N network, is because out BT client take too much bandwidth…..

abi, this unit is for my mum’s place and I am using Linksys for my place,

Nicholas, I am using Linksys WRT54GS wireless router at my home. The coverage is good. This PROLiNK wireless coverage is good too. Try not to open too much of connection per torrent. Wireless N router is still expensive. I would like to suggest you to buy a wireless router with two antenna and change to a 5dbi antenna. It will gives you good coverage,
