MediaPortal is an Open Source Software (OSS) that is designed to turn your personal computer (PC) into a very advanced home theater PC (HTPC). A HTPC also referred to a media center. MediaPortal allows you to listen to your favorite music and radio. You can watch and store your videos and DVDs. You can view, schedule and record live TV as a digital video recorder. You can view digital photos, view weather information and much more. MediaPortal is built on the Microsoft .NET framework using C# and currently only available for Microsoft Windows.
