Gmail storage increased to 5GB and increasing
If you haven’t noticed, Gmail storage has increased to 5GB since yesterday. They started the “Infinity+1″ storage plan increased from 1GB on April 2005. This was made to celebrate the 1st anniversary of Gmail. They realized it will never reached infinity but they promised to give more free storage by speeding up the counter. But, do you know how does Gmail store all the emails?

Gmail has been the favorite free web-based email after Hotmail and Yahoo Mail for myself. Gmail has extensive features like conversation threading, search, tagging, keyboard shortcuts, email lables and email filters. It does not comes with cluttered interface.

The only concern I have while using Gmail is privacy. This is because Gmail will automatically scans your emails to display relevant ads to you. Currently, I am using 368MB (7%) of my 5000MB storage.
